Cult-Classic RPG Astonishia Story Returns as a Modern Remake Next Year

Publisher NIS America has announced that the classic tactical RPG Astonishia Story will launch on February 11, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The story follows the young knight Lloyd von Reuental as he embarks on a quest to recover the stolen Wand of Kinan and restore his tarnished honor. His journey quickly escalates into a larger conflict to stop the Elven Queen from claiming the powers of an ancient deity.

Astonishia Story retains the franchise’s signature turn-based grid combat, positioning strategy, and mercenary recruitment system, while updating the visuals with fully remastered high-resolution graphics. The remake releases on February 11, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
